    Jaliawala bagh

Jaliawala bagh The memorial at this site commemorates the 2000 Indians who were killed or wounded, shot indiscriminately by the British under the command of Gen Michael O"Dyer on April13, 1919 while participating in a peaceful public meeting. This was one of the major incidents of India's freedom struggle. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre accentuated political awakening in India and brought Mahatma Gandhi to the forefront of Indian political life. The bullet marks can be seen to this day on the boundary walls of the garden.


    Wagha border

Wagha border – Wagah is the only road border crossing between Pakistan and India between Aritsar and Lahore cities.Wagah also termed as "Wagha" in Pakistan. As the sun sets, the iron gate at the border is opened and the flags of India and Pakistan are lowered and folded by their respective soldiers.







    King Ranjeet Singh Panorama

King Ranjeet Singh Panorama – Dedicated to the "The Lion of Punjab", Maharaja Ranjit Singh, this Panorama is a life like visual documentation of the great king. The National Council of Science Museums in cooperation with the State government has recently set up Maharaja Ranjit Singh panorama. The deeds of Maharaja Ranjit Singh will remain as permanent marks in the annals of sikh history.







    Durgiana Temple

Durgiana Temple- The temple The complex houses Shree Laxmi Narayan Mandir with a huge pond on its periphery. Durgiana Mandir is located at a distance of 1.5 kms from the Golden Temple Of Amritsar. This temple does not offer accommodation facilities for the visitors.







    Lal devi temple

Lal devi temple Its beautiful, glass made temple dedicated to the enlightened female saint Lal Devi in located in Amritsar. Its replica of Maa vashino devi temple which is located in Katra Jammu.
